The Actors' Studio

The Actors' Studio is a place for young artists to discover themselves. Students will learn about the craft of acting through instruction, theater games and exercises in which they will acquire the tools necessary to create a character and build a scene or song. Our classes foster self-confidence, teach students to work well with others and to find their own creative voice. I strive to combine my experience as a clinical social worker and a theater professional to create a safe, warm and supportive environment for young artists to grow.

AUDITIONS: MON 1/27, 7:30-9PM; THURS 1/30, 6:30-8PM; WED 2/5, 7:30-9PM;CALLBACK THURS 2/6, 6-8PM, AT SOUTH SALEM PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (SSPC), 111 SPRING STREET, SOUTH SALEM, NY.

PLEASE PREPARE A SONG. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO READ FROM THE SCRIPT.

PERFORMANCES: 5/29 eve, 5/30 mat and eve, 5/31 mat at THE SCHOOLHOUSE THEATER, 3 OWENS ROAD, CROTON FALLS, NY

REHEARSALS: SATURDAYS 2/8-5/23 @ SSPC; 10AM-12:30PM (2pm for some on a regular basis; ealier and later times as needed.)

DRESS REHEARSALS: SUN 5/24, 11AM-7PM; MON 5/25, 3-8PM; TUES 5/26 THRU THURS 5/28, 4-9PM @ the theater (times are approximate and are subject to change).

COST: $600
